Marbella in the Winter

Marbella Winter

Marbella in the Winter

Many clients say to me “Why Do You Live in Marbella”.  One of the many answers are “LONGER DAYS”

One of the many joys of living in Spain is that you do not have to chase around and get out of bed early to enjoy the days.  The reason for this is because the days are much longer here with darkness not falling until just before 7pm.

When I visit other European countries, I find we have to be up and out of bed early to enjoy as much sunlight as possible.  Not so here.  It is quite amusing when you have someone that has lived in the Marbella region for so long and they then ask a tourist, what time do you get up.  They are greeted with an answer of 6AM.  Anyone that has lived here will probably pass out from shock and will not have seen 6AM in a very long time.  Why?  Because you don’t have to.  The days are much longer, allowing you to stay up later and get up later.  Thus enjoying much more of the great areas that The Costa del Sol has to offer.  These are amazing towns such as La Cala de Mijas, Marbella Promenade and San Pedro.  These are great places to visit in the winter.

With the new investment of walkways that have been installed along the beach.  You can now hire a bike at a very cheap price (from as little as €10 per day) and cycle between many of these areas.  This will take you along many of the best coastlines along the Mediterranean.

It really is a must and will provide a perfect day.  It is also something that everyone can do as you can go as fast and as far as you want and you can even take the kids.
